It is not easy to provide food for a large group of people, especially considering the current prices of groceries. One more time, Walmart has come through for us, allowing us to save a significant amount of money for those large gatherings. In the previous year, the shop sold Thanksgiving Dinner Kits for a mere thirty dollars, and earlier this summer, we were able to get some fantastic deals during its Fourth of July sale, which was approximately six dollars per person.
Now, Walmart has increased the number of ways in which you can save money while feeding your group during the national football season.
Walmart’s Curated Game Day Baskets
Recently, Walmart introduced Game Day Baskets, which are designed to assist you and your friends in eating well without exceeding your financial means. There are three different baskets available for your selection: the Watch Party Basket, the Tailgating Spread Basket, and the Cleanup Basket. Each of these baskets provides a convenient pack of food and supplies respectively.
To begin, there is the Watch Party Basket, which can be purchased for $49.46. This is what Walmart refers to as a “full feast designed for eight people.” The package contains a variety of items, including four pounds of chicken wings, a bag of mozzarella sticks weighing 22 ounces, a bag of Great Value Party Size Original Wavy Potato Chips weighing 13 ounces, and ten chocolate chip cookies.
Additionally, it contains two frozen pizzas, namely the Great Value Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza and the Great Value Rising Crust Three Meat Pizza.
The Tailgating Spread Basket, which costs $55.33, includes a 10-pack of Oscar Mayer Classic Beef Franks, an 8-count of Nature’s Own Perfectly Crafted Brioche Style Hot Dog Buns, a 20-ounce can of Bush’s the initial Baked Beans, a 32-ounce tub of ready-to-eat deviled an egg potato salad, an 8-ounce bag of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips, and a 12-pack of Dr Pepper.
Lastly, there is the Cleanup Basket, which can be purchased from Walmart for $14.42 and is offered with the promise of making “game-day cleanup a breeze.”
The following items are included in this basket: a 48-count set of Great Value Premium Clear Disposable Plastic Assorted Cutlery; a 50-count set of Great Value Everyday Disposable Plastic Party Cups; two double rolls of Great Value Ultra Strong Paper Towels; a 50-count set of Great Value Everyday Paper Plates; and twenty Great Value Strong Flex 13-Gallon Drawstring Tall Kitchen Trash Bags.
