Voting, many think, is the prize in and of itself since it is the act of putting democracy into action. All well and good, but some of us also find that occasional treats keep us going when the going gets tough. We are lucky enough to be voters since Krispy Kreme has a new program called “Doughmocracy” that encourages us to cast our ballots this election season.
It should be a reason for joy to take part in our democratic process! According to Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer Dave Skena, the business is happy to provide complimentary Original Glazed doughnuts on Election Day. “We are happy to sweeten everyone’s day with that,” said the CEO.
Following these steps will score you a free doughnut from Krispy Kreme on election day
Sure, we’re on board. So, what’s the best way to start gathering? To get your doughnut on Tuesday, November 5, just visit any participating Krispy Kreme store and ask for one. On that particular day, you are under no need to buy anything. Bringing your “I Voted” sticker isn’t even necessary as proof. Krispy Kreme is now handing out “I Voted” stickers at certain locations, but only while supplies last.
If you cast your ballot early, you won’t have to hold on to your sticker until election day. You will get a complimentary Original Glazed in return for your support.
Krispy Kreme has been running a series of fantastic campaigns recently; the corporation probably doesn’t need much of an excuse to rejoice with free doughnuts. As a further voting promotion in March, the doughnut makers gave out two complimentary Original Glazed doughnuts to every person in honor of Super Tuesday, or Super Twosday, as they called it.
Plus, an extra Halloween treat was available to anybody who donned a costume on October 31st, which was only a few days ago. In an effort to get them to stop by the store and try the Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme Doughnut, Slimer Doughnut, Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut, and Chocolate Iced with Halloween Sprinkles—all part of the “Ghostbusters” x Krispy Kreme collaboration—Krispy Kreme sent them a doughnut. They were not obligated to buy anything in order to have this done.
The only thing Krispy Kreme asks in return for their latest offer is that you go by the voting booth (and maybe even the photo booth) and post doughy pictures to social media with the hashtag #KrispyKreme. Krispy Kreme will want you to do this one thing only.
