During the course of this year, Taco Bell has brought back a number of menu items that have been popular among customers, including the Big Cheez-It Crunch Wrap Supreme and the testing of a Nostalgic Menu. Two of the most popular tacos will be returning this week, much to the joy of the patrons.
It is scheduled on October 10 that Taco Bell will reintroduce its Double Decker Taco and Double Decker Taco Supreme, both of which will be made accessible across the country. A crispy taco that is loaded with seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, and cheddar cheese is included in the Double Decker Taco. This taco is then wrapped in a soft tortilla that is filled with warm refried beans. The Supreme is made out of the same components as the regular version, with the addition of chopped tomatoes and sour cream with decreased fat content.
Taco Bell is the place to go if you are already enthusiastic about the reintroduction of these two menu items, and you should go there as soon as possible rather than waiting until later. It is only until the 30th of October that the Double Decker Taco and its Supreme equivalent will be available for purchase.
During the month of December in 2023, Taco Bell brought back those tacos for a short time. The Double Decker Taco was initially introduced by the fast-food company in 1995 as a limited-time offering. In June of 2006, the chain decided to provide it as a permanent option. The taco, however, was taken from the menu by Taco Bell in 2019, leading a great number of customers to lament the absence of the dish.
Fans were given the opportunity to bring back a menu item that had been eliminated in 2022, either the Double Decker Taco or the Enchirito. In the end, the Enchirito emerged victorious, which is unfortunate for those who are fans of the Double Decker.
The Supreme choice will be offered at a suggested price of $2.69, while the Double Decker Taco will be available for a suggested price of $2. The prices of the goods were $2.99 and $3.69, respectively, the previous year.
Not only is Taco Bell introducing the Double Decker Tacos to its menu this month, but the company is also adding other products to its menu. Today, the chain made the announcement that beginning on October 31st, it would begin testing Chicken Al Pastor Street Chalupas in the city of Minneapolis. According to Taco Bell, the cuisine that serves as the inspiration for the menu item is the Mexican delicacy known as al pastor.
The impending addition is the first new flavor variety of the chain’s Cantina Slow-Roasted Chicken, which is marinated in a sweet and delicious combination of pineapple and chilies. The first new flavor variant will be available in the near future. After that, the chicken is encased in two cheesy shells that are shaped like street-sized Quesalupas and topped with onions y cilantro.
At the end of the previous month, Taco Bell introduced their brand-new Disha Hot Sauce, which was developed in collaboration with the singer-songwriter Omar Apollo. This smokey spicy sauce is available for purchase at a price of $0.20 for a packet that has five calories.
They also have the option of purchasing the Disha Hot Discovery Box, which comes with three sauce packets, a cheesy Gordita Crunch (which has 490 calories), a Doritos Locos Taco (which has 170 calories), a Crunchy Taco (which has 170 calories), chips with nacho cheese sauce (which has 220 calories), and a medium bottled drink for a suggested price of $8.99.
