Can you think of anything that brings back more fond memories than a sizzling, cheesy Hot Pocket? It is difficult to find a better option than these pockets of saucy, pizza-inspired delight either as a simple appetizer for game day or as a fast snack that is gratifying. For this copycat recipe, we utilized pizza dough from a can, marinara from the supermarket, cheese, and pepperoni from the store.
This allowed us to mimic the popular pizza Hot Pocket style. Additionally, the egg wash contributes to the crust’s golden brown color and gives it a wonderful gloss. It’s the new and improved version of the traditional snack.
The possibilities for fillings are really limitless after you have mastered the procedure, so don’t be afraid to experiment! If you are looking for inspiration for filling, you can go no further than our air fryer hot pockets recipe.
