Trader Joe's Restored the Bakery Item Fans Demand Their "Kryptonite"

Going to Trader Joe’s and looking at all of the seasonal goods that are new and returning is one of the simple pleasures that life has to offer. Despite the fact that there are a lot of fresh treats on the shelf, I can’t help but make my way to the bakery part of the store.

When fall arrives, Trader Joe’s brings back some of their most popular baked items, such as Apple and Pumpkin Hand Pies and the “12 instead of 10” Pumpkin Caramel Kringle. Any Trader Joe’s advocate worth their salt is aware of this fact. Teeny Tiny Apple Pies, which were my favorite dessert from the selection from the previous year, have been brought back by TJ’s, making the fall season even more enjoyable.

The return of teeny-tiny apple pies on the shelves of Trader Joe’s

The reintroduction of this fan-favorite product includes four small pies that are loaded with apples that have a sweet-tart flavor and are baked in a crust that is flaky and buttery. The pies are then covered with a crumble made of brown sugar. Because of their little size, they are ideal for serving on an individual basis; there is no need to prepare an entire pie in the event that you suddenly get a need for something to eat.

It is recommended by Trader Joe’s that the pies be served at room temperature; alternatively, they can be heated in the microwave or air fryer to get a warm, gooey, and freshly baked appearance. On the other hand, although it is possible to offer them on their own, I am of the firm belief that apple pie, regardless of whether it is sliced or served as an individual mini, is enhanced by the addition of a substantial scoop of vanilla ice cream.

But I’m not the only one. There are two Instagram accounts dedicated to Trader Joe’s: @traderjoesnew and @traderjoesobsessed. Both of these accounts encourage trying the pies with ice cream combinations.

They are going back to shops, and I’m not the only one who is happy about it. One user on Reddit detailed their preferred method of serving the pies, which included warming them with vanilla ice cream and topping them with crumbled speculoos biscuits. An further reader responded by stating, “Teeny Tiny Apple Pies are my kryptonite.”

On another topic on Reddit, where a user claimed that the pies were “the worst thing I’ve ever bought from TJ’s,” commenter after commenter rallied to the rescue of the pies, writing things like “100% disagree they were great” and “Aw, they’re one of my favorites! I believe that they are the ideal fall dessert, especially when they are warmed up with vanilla ice cream.

Someone other who left a remark said, “Oh my goodness, I am completely obsessed with these.” Before I had even left the parking lot, I had already consumed two of them while I was in the car.

In contrast to previous incarnations of mini pies, which were sold in the freezer aisle, these small pies are located in the bakery department, and the price of a bundle that contains four mini pies is $4.99. As a result of the fact that once a Trader Joe’s product is sold out, it is no longer available, we strongly advise you to visit the bakery section of your local Trader Joe’s as soon as possible.

Despite the fact that we might hold out hope that the reintroduction of the Teeny Tiny Apple Pie indicates that there is a prospect of more pies of a similar size in the future, my fingers are crossed for a mini pecan pie that is so adorable that it beyond description.
