Without a doubt, pimento cheese is a favorite among the majority of Southerners. We give up trying to resist the irresistible blend of creamy mayonnaise, tangy Cheddar, sliced pimientos, and a pinch of pepper.
One of the other beloved items in the South, Chick-fil-A, would naturally include it in their menu. Last September, the popular chicken sandwich restaurant introduced a new item to its menu: the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately, this special flavor didn’t stay on the shelves for very long.
But because it was so popular, Chick-fil-A brought it back a few weeks ago and even added a spicy version. This was in response to customers who wanted more spice, who ordered the hot filet instead of the original chicken. But that’s not all.
The chain has responded to the demand for pimento cheese as a side dish by adding it to their menu.
Here’s a list of all the ways you can enjoy Chick-fil-A’s pimento cheese dip: dip chicken strips, add it to chicken biscuits or hashbrown scramble burritos, dip waffle fries in it, or use it to make grilled chicken sandwiches that aren’t quite as healthy but oh-so delicious.
If you’re planning to impress your guests at your next book club meeting, backyard BBQ, or tailgate, but don’t have the time to whip up a batch of pimento dip, you can always order some cheese as an accompaniment.
You should know that Chick-fil-A’s pimento cheese sandwich and side are only available for a limited time, so if you desire them, grab them while you can.
